What we do not do
- We set no advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no advertising pixel, tag manager or analytics script on this site.
- We do not sell or share anything about your visit with anyone for advertising.
- Nothing above carries your name, your passport details or your payment details. Those are handled inside the journey and never in a cookie.
The categories on the banner
- Essential Always on
- Keeps your quote and your answers together as you move through the steps, and protects every form you submit from being posted by another site. Without these the purchase journey cannot work, so they cannot be turned off. They hold no advertising identifier.
Only one category appears, because it is the only one that is true today. If Minet later measures how the journey is used, a switch for it will appear here and on the banner — off until you turn it on.
Changing your mind
Withdrawing your choice is as easy as making it. This opens the same panel the banner does, with whatever you chose last time already showing.
Clearing your browser's cookies for this site also clears the record of your choice, and the banner will ask again.
Who to ask
Minet's full privacy policy covers what happens to your personal data more broadly, and is published on the main Minet site. Under the Data Protection Act 2019 you can ask what we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it.
